Just a few really quick, really short, thoughts on some B-Movies I’ve watched lately that I never did reviews for, for one reason or another (lack of time, not in the mood to do one, don’t have much to say, etc). A frustrated, angst-ridden teenage girl awakens something in the woods when she naively performs an occult ritual to evoke a witch to kill her mother.  REVIEW: I loved the way Pyewacket was filmed, The acting was superb, and while the story is a massive slowburn, it’s an interesting story all the same, with a couple genuinely creepy moments. However, it’s a bit too much of a slowburn and it never really gets crazy enough in the end to make up for it. REVIEW: Raaz is a Bollywood horror movie from the early 2000s, although with the poor quality of the video you would think that it's from much earlier then that. On the flip side however, that made the movie feel older, thus it added a bit of atmosphere to the creepy scenes, making them that much more creepier. And let me tell you, since this movie is almost three hours long (as is par for the course for a Bollywood movie), there is plenty of creepy, scary, spine-tingling atmospheric scenes to be found here. REVIEW BY: Jeffrey Long Company:  The Collective Runtime: 116 mins Format: BluRay Plot: When a group of misfits is hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house and acquire a rare VHS tape, they discover more found footage than they bargained for. Review: V/H/S is a horror anthology movie made up of 5 short stories and a bookend wrap-around story, all of which was made in the found footage style of film making. Like with all anthology movies, some entries were great while others...well, not so much. I'll start first with the main wrap-around story. It involves a group of trouble-making hooligans that video tape their crimes and potential attempted rapes and all that, and they get hired by a mystery man to break into this old guy's house and steal a VHS tape.
